Spelling: Last week’s spelling feature with ck, ke, and ook proved to be difficult for many of the kids. Therefore, I am going to have a review week for this spelling feature. Your child’s list for this week is posted below. I would also like the kids to be able to spell the name of their school district; Hudsonville.
Please help your child work with these words this week:

Ke |
ook |
packing |
shake |

Math: Unit two covers the multiplication facts 6s, 7s, and 8s. Please make sure your child is practicing his/her facts using flash cards and/or Mobymax. Knowing the multiplication facts is vital to your child’s success in third grade math.
Writing: We are finishing up our personal narrative final drafts and will be starting opinion essays this week.
Social Studies: There will be a test on Thursday on the way humans have modified and adapted to Michigan’s environment. The study guide will go home on Tuesday, but I have also attached it here.
