Writing– Writing nonfiction based on Personal Expertise.

Reading- Informational Reading.

Spelling– Week #14; This week’s study feature is Long Vowel Review (CVVC)

Math– Unit #3- Measurement, Time and Graphs.Remember have your child practice Moby Max Fact Fluency for 5 minutes Monday-Thursday!

Social Studies-  Our Michigan Economics unit is complete. The unit test was the first test the kids have had that asked them to apply the information they learned. If your child didn’t do as well as you had hoped, remember that this is not the only grade I took for economics. I will be looking at their performance throughout the entire unit. Next, we will start a unit on Michigan History. This is usually a favorite for the kids.

Have a great week!
